The great shinobi war has become a source of knowledge for future generations. Nowadays, the research team of the Fire Village has created a simulated world, known as the Shadow War, with the purpose of enhancing the competence of shinobi. The primary goals of this training include defending their squad, ambushing, spying, and more.

The Shadow War is a bi-monthly event with various special rewards. Players are divided into five squads:

• Assault Squad: This squad is responsible for pushing the opponent with the best power attacks, a crucial factor in the success of the war.
• Ambush Squad: A support squad whose role is to carry out surprise attacks. If the ambush team is discovered by the enemy, there is a potential information leak.
• Medic Guard: A support squad tasked with looking after the medical team and injured ninjas. The troop morale will be affected if the medical team is attacked.
• HQ Guard: A strategic team defense squad and war commando. They must ensure their troops maintain control on the battlefield.
• Kage Guard: An elite defense squad responsible for guarding the village leader. Failure can lead to troop imbalance.

Throughout the season, the enemy takes the form of shinobi from another squad, disguising themselves to infiltrate your village. Due to the significant enemy waves, your team may experience debuffs, but you will receive buffs when attacking the squad ranked at 1.

Additional details about the gameplay include:

• Each battle should take around 1 minute, or else a cooldown period of several minutes will be required.
• The Rank 1 Squad, every 15 minutes, will receive a debuff when engaging in battle (as attackers), while the other squads attacking the Rank 1 squad will receive buffs. The applied effects cannot be dispersed during the battle.
• Energy will be refilled every 20 minutes.
• Rewards will be distributed at the end of the season (Global Ranker, Per Squad Top Ranker, and Rank Rewards).
